Euro 1972 BMW 3.0CS 5

This 1972 BMW 3.0CS was built on April 26, 1972 and delivered new to Italy. The car was acquired by the current owner in 2024, and work since then has involved installing Weber carburetors and Pertronix electronic ignition as well as replacing the shocks, springs, coolant hoses, thermostat, spark plugs, fuel pump, and windshield wiper pump and motor. It is finished in Malaga over black leather and is powered by a 3.0-liter M30 inline-six linked with a five-speed Getrag 265 manual transmission. Equipment includes 16″ Alpina-style wheels, a rear lip spoiler, an Alpina front air dam, power-operated windows, and a Petri steering wheel. This E9 is now offered on consignment by the selling dealer, a BaT Local Partner, with records from current ownership, a BMW Classic birth certificate, and a clean Oregon title. The car came finished from the factory in Malaga (21) and was repainted under prior ownership. A rear spoiler has been added along with an Alpina front air dam, per the consigning dealer.
