About This Car

This Daisy Yellow 1973 Jeep Commando features a 258ci inline-six, a three-speed automatic transmission, a twin-stick transfer case, and power steering. It has a white soft top over benches with white vinyl upholstery, and its white 15″ steel wheels are mounted with thin-whitewall tires. This Commando convertible is offered by the selling dealer with a clean North Carolina title. The body’s Daisy Yellow paint is accented by chrome bumpers and a white soft top, which has a hole on the right side that is pictured in the gallery below along with other flaws around the vehicle. Warn Lock-O-Matic hubs are installed up front, and unassisted front discs are paired with rear drums for braking. The 15″ steel wheels are mounted with 235/75 Venezia Classic 787 tires. The benches are trimmed in white upholstery, and the cabin has color-keyed sunvisors, a padded dashboard, and a push-button AM radio. The two-spoke steering wheel frames a 110-mph speedometer and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 47k miles. The 258ci inline-six was factory rated at 110 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque. It sends power through a three-speed Turbo Hydra-Matic automatic transmission, which is mated to a twin-stick transfer case. A replacement fuel tank is noted, and an aluminum-core radiator was installed in 2025. Some noise from an accessory drive belt can be heard in a video shared in the gallery below. The seller reports some rust damage on the inside of the rocker panels, and underbody condition is shown further at the end of the gallery.
