No Reserve: 1977 Jeep Wagoneer Project for sale on BaT Auctions

This 1977 Jeep Wagoneer was acquired out of Idaho by the seller in March 2024, and recent electrical issues have rendered the vehicle a non-running project. Finished in Firecracker Red with woodgrain exterior trim over gray and black upholstery, the truck is equipped with a 360ci V8, a three-speed automatic transmission, and a Quadra-Trac transfer case as well as an Edelbrock carburetor, an aluminum radiator, slotted 15″ aluminum wheels, front disc brakes, a roof rack, a tow ball, a cassette stereo, and a CB radio. The carburetor was rebuilt under current ownership, and the rear main seal, engine gaskets, voltage regulator, and fuel filter were replaced. In addition to the aforementioned electrical issues, the Jeep also needs exhaust work and replacement tires, and the headliner and front seatbelts are missing. This SJ Wagoneer project is now offered at no reserve with records from current ownership and a clean Michigan title in the seller’s name. The truck is finished in Firecracker Red (6P) with narrow faux-woodgrain side trim. Features include a black “Egg Crate” grille, dual side mirrors, roof rails, a roof rack, roof-mounted air deflector, a tow ball, a power tailgate window, bright trim, and chrome bumpers. Corrosion and missing paint on the roof are pictured in the gallery below, and the seller notes that touch-up work has been performed to the paint under previous ownership. The photos in the gallery were taken in 2024. Slotted 15″ five-hole alloy wheels are mounted with mismatched worn tires that the seller states should be replaced. Braking is provided by power-assisted front discs and rear drums, and the steering also is power assisted. The front seats and the rear bench are upholstered in patterned gray cloth and black vinyl. The black rubber flooring was replaced under prior ownership. Interior appointments include a digital AM/FM/cassette stereo, a Cobra 29 CB radio, cruise control, a clock, and a cabin heater.
