1984 Jeep CJ

This 1984 Jeep CJ-7 was refurbished under prior ownership and is powered by a 258ci inline-six linked to a four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The truck rides on a lifted suspension with Skyjacker shocks over 15″ Ion Alloy wheels and is finished in blue over black upholstery. Additional equipment includes a Dana 30 front axle, an AMC 20 rear axle, a bikini-style soft top, tubular chrome bumpers and side steps, and a JVC stereo. This CJ-7 is offered with service records, spare parts, a vehicle cover, and a Florida title in the seller’s name. During the refurbishment, the frame is said to have been replaced, the tub was sandblasted, and the truck was repainted blue with Renegade decals. Equipment includes a black bikini-style top, a replacement windshield frame, tubular chrome bumpers and running boards, LED taillights, and black wheel arch flares. Ion Alloy 15″ wheels are mounted with 33×12.5″ BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A tires. The truck is equipped with a suspension lift and Skyjacker shocks. The brakes are said to have been overhauled with a heavy duty master cylinder and a power brake booster as well as replacement brake pads and wheel cylinders during the aforementioned refurbishment. The front bucket seats are trimmed in black upholstery, and interior appointments include a JVC stereo, a heater, a center console with cupholders, and a fire extinguisher mounted to the roll bar. A Jeep-branded mat lines the rear cargo area. The leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts an 85-mph speedometer and Sunpro auxiliary gauges. The six-digit odometer shows 149k miles, approximately 2k of which were added under current ownership. An entry on the Carfax report from April 2002 notes that an Exceeds Mechanical Limits title was issued in South Carolina. The fuel gauge does not work.
