This 1988 Ford Mustang ASC McLaren convertible is #863 of 1,806 examples built between 1987 and 1990. It was first acquired by the seller in 1994, and it was owned by the seller’s parents between 1997 and 2025, when the seller reacquired it. Primarily stored over the last eight years, the car has Scarlet Red paintwork, a black soft top, tinted tail lights, 15″ Cragar wheels, two-tone leather upholstery, a JVC head unit, and air conditioning. Its 302ci V8 is linked with a four-speed automatic transmission. Driven over 130k miles under current ownership, this Fox-body Mustang is now offered with the owner’s manual and a clean California title in the seller’s name. The car was sent to ASC for conversion into a two-seat convertible with a manually operated black soft top. The exterior was repainted in red as part of the conversion, and additional ASC-installed equipment includes a hard convertible boot cover, tinted tail lights, front and rear spoilers, and revised lower body styling.
