3,500-Mile 1997 Ducati 748

This 1997 Ducati 748 was reportedly purchased new by the seller, and it now shows 3,500 miles. Finished in yellow with white accents, the motorcycle is powered by a 748cc Desmoquattro DOHC L-twin paired with a six-speed transmission. It is also equipped with a hydraulically actuated dry clutch, a gold-anodized Oberon clutch slave cylinder, an electric starter, Marelli fuel injection, a Termignoni two-into-two exhaust system with carbon-fiber mufflers and a corresponding fuel-injection tuning chip, and triple disc brakes with Brembo calipers as well as adjustable Showa suspension, gold-finished 17″ wheels, a monoposto tail section, a clear windscreen, dual headlamps, fairing-mounted mirrors, rear-set foot controls, and a side stand. Previously listed on BaT in October 2025 , this 748 is offered again with paddock stands, service and parts invoices, and a New Jersey title in the seller’s name. The Massimo Tamburini-designed bodywork is painted in yellow and mounted over a gold-finished trellis frame. Features include a clear windscreen, dual headlamps, fairing-mounted mirrors, rear-set foot controls, a 4.5-gallon fuel tank with an aftermarket protector, and a side stand as well as a monoposto tail section with a black solo seat and white-finished accents. Scratches are noted on the right side of the bike, which the seller tells us were the result of a garage tip-over, and photos show a crack at the base of the right-side windscreen support along with a fairing joint crack secured with tape. Gold-finished 17″ three-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with Michelin tires installed in 2021. Adjustable Showa suspension consists of an inverted 43mm fork in addition to a piggyback-reservoir monoshock attached to the single-sided aluminum swingarm.
