About This Car
The JZX100 Chaser is Toyota's four-door sedan that became a legend in Japanese drift culture. With its rear-wheel-drive layout and 1JZ/2JZ engine compatibility, the Chaser platform has been the foundation for some of the most impressive builds to come out of Japan.
This example, built by the renowned Friends Racing shop, takes the platform to an entirely different level. The 2JZ-VVTI engine has been fully built to produce 770 wheel horsepower — a number that requires not just power-adding modifications but complete engineering of the supporting systems.
The Kazama widebody transforms the Chaser's conservative sedan proportions into something genuinely aggressive, while Ikeya Formula suspension arms and Aragosta dampers ensure the chassis can handle the power. The level of fit and finish throughout this build is show quality.
