No Reserve: GTN Automotive GTS

This aftermarket Targa roof panel was produced by GTN Automotive to work with Porsche 911 Targa models produced from summer 1985 through 1993, including later G-body models and 964-generation cars. Construction consists of a carbon-fiber-reinforced-plastic frame, a transparent Makrolon panel, and stainless-steel fasteners designed to work with the factory mounting points on a 911 Targa. This particular panel was used on a 964, and it is now offered by the selling dealer at no reserve in Glen Cove, New York. The CFRP frame has a textured matte-black painted finish. The stainless-steel fasteners have a Teflon coating. The seals are made of EPDM rubber. The panel is designed to fit behind the front seats of a 911 Targa. The transparent Makrolon panel has a glass-hard anti-scratch coating on both sides. A crack on the corner is shown above. A production tag riveted to the frame is shown above.
