1964 Porsche 356C Coupe for sale on BaT Auctions

This 1964 Porsche 356C coupe has been repainted Graphite Gray Metallic over black upholstery and is powered by a 1,720cc flat-four equipped with SC-specification cylinder heads and paired with a four-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes 15″ steel wheels, disc brakes, body-color bumpers, twin engine grilles, BF Torino bucket seats, a cabin heater, and an analog clock. The car was acquired by the current owner in 2021, and work since 2025 has involved rebuilding the carburetors, performing a valve adjustment, and replacing the spark plugs and battery. This 356C coupe is now offered on dealer consignment with a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, service records, spare parts, literature, and a clean North Carolina title. This Reutter-built body came finished from the factory in Irish Green and was repainted Graphite Gray Metallic in the early 2000s, at which time the left half of the nose was replaced due to prior collision damage. The rear panels of the front fenders, lower doors, battery pan, and all four fender closing panels were also replaced at that time, and a patch was added to the driver’s floor pan. The 15″ steel wheels are mounted with 185/70 Vredestein tires. The car was factory equipped with disc brakes at each corner. The BF Torino front bucket seats are upholstered in black leather, while the rear jump seats have been re-trimmed in leatherette. The headliner, carpets, and door panels have been replaced, and a Porsche-branded radio blanking plate is fitted. The removed stock seats are included in the sale. The three-spoke steering wheel wears a leather cover and frames VDO instrumentation consisting of a central tachometer with a 5,200-rpm redline as well as a 120-mph speedometer and a combination gauge for oil temperature and fuel level.
