About This Car
RAUH-Welt Begriff needs no introduction. Akira Nakai's hand-built widebody 911s are instantly recognizable and have become some of the most iconic modified Porsches in the world. But not all RWBs are created equal — some are show queens, some are garage decorations, and a rare few are genuinely well-sorted driving machines.
"Spectre" falls firmly in the last category. Built on a 964 Carrera 4 platform, this RWB features the aggressive RSR backdate styling that Nakai-san is known for, but the real story is in how it drives. KW suspension provides properly sorted damping and ride height, Steve Wong's performance chip and lightweight flywheel sharpen the 3.6L flat-six's response, and the whole package comes together as a cohesive driving experience rather than a collection of parts.
The Rotiform wheels fill the massive fender flares perfectly, and the overall stance is aggressive without being impractical. This is an RWB you actually want to drive — on back roads, on the highway, through the city. It's well sorted in the truest sense of the word.
