1972 Porsche 911T Coupe 5

This 1972 Porsche 911T coupe was originally specified with Silver Metallic paintwork, blue leather-to-sample upholstery, 15″ forged alloy wheels, Koni dampers, front and rear stabilizer bars, an antenna and speaker, comfort equipment, and the E03 option group with air conditioning. Its 2.4-liter flat-six is equipped with Bosch mechanical fuel injection and linked with a 915 five-speed manual transaxle, and the car has been fitted with SSI heat exchangers and Coco mats. The seller’s father acquired the car in 2016, and Porsche of New Orleans used the car in promotion for the relaunch of the 911T for the 2018 model year. In 2018 the engine was updated with Carrera-style tensioners, and the MFI was overhauled. This 911T is now offered by the seller in Alabama on behalf of his father’s estate with a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, a stamped service booklet, the owner’s manual, spare parts, and a clean Louisiana title. The car is finished in Silver Metallic (936) and was repainted in the late 1990s by its former owner, who kept the car between the late 1980s and the seller’s father’s acquisition in 2016. The 15″ Fuchs alloy wheels are mounted with 185/70 Pirelli Cinturato tires. The car was factory equipped with ventilated disc brakes at all four corners, and the seller reports that the Koni dampers were replaced in 2018. The car was specified with blue leather-to-sample upholstery, and darker carpeting and Coco mats line the floors. A Blaupunkt radio has been retained in the dashboard, and the left door pocket droops. The seller notes that the air conditioning system has been converted to use R134a refrigerant and only holds a charge for ~90 days.
