Modified 1974 Porsche 911 Coupe for sale on BaT Auctions

This 1974 Porsche 911 coupe is powered by a modified 2.7-liter flat-six that was rebuilt in 2004 by Schneider Autohaus in Santa Barbara, California, and further changes include a fiberglass ducktail and rear bumper as well as Carrera-specification brake components, a revised suspension, a roll bar, a RennShift Performance shifter, and aftermarket exhaust components. The car was sold on BaT in February 2018 before it was acquired by the current owner later that year. Subsequent work included replacing the fifth gear in the Type 915 five-speed manual transaxle, re-jetting the carburetors, re-trimming the interior in brown leather with Porsche Karo Madras fabric accents, and installing Recaro Sportster bucket seats, Rennline interior accents, RSR-style taillights, PerTronix electronic ignition, a 123ignition distributor, and Elephant Racing front camber plates and quick-change spring plates. This gold-finished, mid-year 911 is now offered by the seller on behalf of the owner with service records and a clean California title in the owner’s name. The car was repainted in the early 1990s and features black Porsche-script graphics and #7 door roundels. It has also been retrofitted with a fiberglass rear bumper and ducktail, Bosch H4 headlights, RSR-style taillights, and a rear center reflector delete panel. The windshield and gasket were previously replaced along with the window trim and trunk and door rubber, and the locks were re-keyed in August 2023. The front brakes utilize contemporary Carrera components and are cooled via ducting in the front valance. The brake pads and rotors are said to have been replaced in March 2025.
