Le Mans–Class-Winning 1976 Porsche 934 Race Car

This 1976 Porsche 934 is of a believed 31 built over a two-year production run and was campaigned by Porsche-Kremer Racing in the 1976 German National Championship, where it achieved a fourth place finish in the European Grand Touring category. Following damage sustained throughout the season, the car was fitted with a replacement tub and entered into the 1977 24 Hours of Le Mans securing a Group 4 GT class victory and a seventh-place overall finish, before again winning its class at the 6 Hours of Silverstone in 1978. The car was reacquired in 2006 by Kremer Racing of Cologne, Germany, who commissioned a restoration that involved a repaint in white with the Burton of London livery worn by the car in 1977. Power is provided by a turbocharged 3.0-liter flat-six equipped with dual water-cooled intercoolers and mated to a four-speed manual transaxle with a limited-slip differential. Additional equipment includes center-lock BBS wheels, adjustable anti-roll bars, a roll cage, a front spoiler, a rear wing, bolt-on fender flares, and a fire-suppression system. The car was brought stateside in 2008 and has since attended Rennsport Reunion events as well as the 2009 Monterey Historic Races, and it was displayed at the Petersen Museum in 2020 and featured in Excellence . Acquired by the current owner in 2022, this 934 is now offered by Wob Cars, a BaT Local Partner , on consignment in Thousand Oaks, California, with an O.N.S. Wagenpass, historical photos, and a bill of sale. Introduced for the 1976 racing season, the 934 utilized the production 930 as a base and added a front spoiler to accommodate a large center-mounted oil cooler as well as intakes for air and brake cooling.
