2008 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup for sale on BaT Auctions

This 2008 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup is said to have been piloted by English actor and model Kelvin Fletcher to third place in the 2013 Porsche GT3 Carrera Cup Great Britain championship while with Redline Racing. After the car came to the US, it was fitted with a 4.0-liter flat-six from Autometrics Motorsports of Summerville, South Carolina, and the engine is paired with a six-speed sequential transaxle that was reportedly rebuilt by Autometrics within the last five engine hours. Wearing a satin white vinyl wrap with black and red accents, the car is equipped with a limited-slip differential, an air jack system, Motion Control Suspension three-way dampers, a rear wing, 997.2 front wheel arch flares, tow hooks, 18″ BBS center-lock alloy wheels, a Bosch ABS system, a Sparco racing seat, a roll cage, a fuel cell, and a fire suppression system. This 997 Cup car was purchased by the current owner in 2019 and is now offered in Summerville, South Carolina, on behalf of the current owner with spare parts, service records, and a bill of sale. The bodywork has been modified with 997.2 front wheel arch flares and is wrapped in satin white vinyl with black and red center stripes. Exterior equipment includes a rear wing with American flag-motif end plates as well as front and rear tow hooks, an “Evans 377” windshield graphic, and a Porsche Motorsport front bumper, the latter of which was recently installed. There are dents in the left-rear wheel arch shown in the gallery. The 18″ BBS center-lock alloy wheels are mounted with Pirelli P Zero slicks, and the front wheels were widened in 2022. The car features electrohydraulic power steering and a fully independent suspension.
