Sequential-VIN 1965 Porsche 911 Coupes

These Signal Red Porsche 911 short-wheelbase coupes were both produced on April 9, 1965, as chassis number 300717 and 300718, and they were initially delivered in Oregon via Porsche Car Northwest Beaverton. Chassis 300717 remained in storage from the early 1980s through 2017, when the previous owner purchased it and initiated a restoration project following a relocation to Wisconsin. Bodywork was performed prior to the car being acquired by the selling dealer later that year as a non-running project, and subsequent refurbishment work involved installing a replacement 2.0-liter Type 901/01 flat-six, overhauling the Type 901/0 five-speed manual transaxle, repainting the car, and reupholstering the interior.
